Heartland Community Church

On June 25th, HCC will be going to Central Park to share with the Decatur community.  From 4-6 p.m., there will be activities for all ages including carnival rides and food.  Between 6-8 p.m., we will have ministry opportunities by bringing praise and worship, special music, and other ministry to the downtown area.  Everyone is encouraged to participate as there will be no service at the church that evening.

Independence Day Outreach Opportunities

On Sunday, June 29th, we will be hosting an Independence Day Celebration here at HCC.  Individuals are needed to assist in providing food for this event.  We are asking that last names beginning with A-M bring a side dish or salad and N-Z  bring a dessert.  Meat will be provided. 

Independence Day Celebration

Our Independence Day Celebration this year will include a moving musical presentation by the HCC choir, a picnic in the Pavilion, special music in the Grand Palace, pony rides and games for the kids, and lots of fun and activity.  Invite your friends from school and work to this wonderful day of fellowship.

Women’s Ministry Meeting

The women’s ministry will be holding their bi-monthly meeting on June 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the main auditorium.  Join us for worship, fellowship, and women connecting with other women.  A friendship overview session will be taught by Tori Moore.  The next women’s meeting will be Saturday, August 9th with guest speakers, Marti Johnson and Judy Dagraedt.  

Mystery Dinner Theater Tickets Available Now
Heartland Community Church is presenting a mystery dinner theater entitled “Suspect Hollywood” on Friday and Saturday, July 11th and 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Palace.  Enjoy an evening of great food, prizes, and fun.  Tickets are available M-F at the church office or after services on Sunday mornings.  The cost is $20 per person.  For more information, contact the church office at 877-9529.
